SHOES OF PREY.
Shoes of Prey is a website where you can design your very own shoe! Amazing, I know! It's the perfect website for any girl who loves shoes. This idea is genius, because I know there are shoes that I like but would change one or two things about them and here you can do that! I recommend this site to ALL women.

EMERGING DESIGNERS PARTY AT LOT8
At the beginning of January, Chloe Dao and her team at Lot 8 hosted an open call for emerging talent at their boutique. Now, Chloe and her merchandising team have made their selections and are hosting a party to debut the emerging talent that has been chosen to sell their pieces at the Lot 8 Rice Village boutique.
Chloe Dao has been an important part of Houston's fashion scene and continues to support homegrown local talent and this event should be no different! Come out and support Houston's fashion scene and Houston's fashion designers! Also, this is the only place you can shop for Chloe Dao's fabulous spring collection!

Pose of 2010/2011 : Crossed Ankles
Bill Cunningham, (the Godfather of street style photography) has deemed crossed ankles as the pose of 2010/2011. Agree or disagree?
Erin Kaplan leaves Elle!
Erin Kaplan, our favorite PR director of Elle and The City left her boss, Joe Zee and arch nemesis Olivia Palermo for a position at Teen Vogue as Senior PR Director. (one of my dream jobs).
As an ode to Erin Kaplan, I found this video of her many faces! Enjoy!
LSD's APT
I'll preface these photos with a quick story. My first time volunteering for NY fashion week was last February and there was a huge snowstorm, and of course I was HAND DELIVERING show invites. The cool thing about that was that I got to see a lot of New York and sometimes the insides of editors and special show guests' apartments.
The highlight of that was visiting Vogue editor, Lauren Santo Domingo's $9 million dollar apartment to deliver an invite to the Jen Kao show. Vogue recently went into her apartment and took these great photos. My favorite thing about her apartment is her bookcase (though it is probably too cool to call it a bookcase) filled with fashion, art and design books.
