What I love about this editorial is that the clothes are all fresh and springy, devoid of studs, or any hardware. Well the one red dress has safety pins, but the colors are bright and classic with a hint of preppiness, which is right up my alley. Love the whole thing!

You can see other outtakes from her Teen Vogue shoot on TeenVogue.com

Here at UrbaneTimes, we love Jessica Szohr. She's gorgeous and she has a great sense of style. Plus, she plays a 'Vanessa' on TV, which is a plus in my book!

Vintage Chanel

A couple of days ago, I posted about a vintage Chanel alligator envelope clutch that was amazing. I subscribe to a lot of shopping sale sites, and Billionaire Girls is one of my favorite sites to browse. They had a wonderful vintage Chanel jewelry sale, and though the prices were fairly affordable (prices starting at $165) they were still out of my league. I'm saving for my New York trip in February, so splurging on vintage Chanel was something I couldn't do right now. But I will!

Here are some of the pieces that got me drooling.

Inspiration

I think everyone looks at a lot of street style blogs and websites nowadays. Each blog provides different areas of inspiration for me. Sometimes you come across people that have the exact style you want to dress like. For me, that is a cross between American sportswear and classic French dressing, still very girly but comfortable, and most of all classic.

Lovely Liya

Liya Kebede is one of our favorite models because she is so striking! Her photos always seem to evoke emotion, and sometimes I don't see that in other models. Here are a few shots that are so beautiful and elegant.

Makeup Maestro

After a childhood of rummaging through her mother's makeup bag and a chance meeting with a fashion stylist, Pat embarked on a career in painting faces. To put it mildly, the word "successful" would be an understatement: She counts Prada, Anna Sui, Calvin Klein, and Lanvin as clients. "I really love being a makeup artist," says Pat, "It never gets mundane or predictable and every shoot and show is different."
